Another weekend is upon us and in Central Chile during April that means another vendimia and another great reason to get out and sample some wine. Last weekend marked the vendimia festival in Isla de Maipo, a grassroots, true to heart (not to mention packed!) festival. This weekend there is a different, maybe more urban, but nonetheless worthy celebration in the Plaza Ñuñoa, a great area with plenty of restaurants and bars for your eating and drinking satisfaction.
For the 10th year in a row area restaurants will have a selection of reserve wines avalible por copa, or by the glass. The participating restaurants include most of the street level spots on the north side of the main avenue passing the area, Irarrazaval.
Glasses of wine are priced at CHP 1.500 in each establishment and the event runs through Saturday night. Enjoy!
