FoodyChile

afternoon food & cultural walk

Experience Santiago’s inspired neighborhoods during an afternoon of culture, food and drinks.

We start at Metro Bellas Artes where you can admire some iconic street art before starting
your foodie adventure with a delicious snack.

Take a short walk to admire the architecture of the neighborhood’s namesake landmark, the Museo de Bellas Artes (Fine Arts) and one of Santiago’s oldest parks, Parque Forestal, before stopping to try some typical Chilean dishes and one of Chile’s most popular sandwiches.

You’ll have an introduction to the historic Cerro Santa Lucia from its base, the founding point of the city, before stopping to indulge in Chile’s favorite food and a Chilean craft beer.

Continue into the Lastarria neighborhood, wandering the streets of small boutiques and restaurants and visiting the historic GAM cultural center to talk about its sinister past and bright future.  We’ll make sure you get a sweet Chilean treat along the way, and finish your tour with a taste of Chile’s favorite grape, Carménère, and learn about its rediscovery in this new world wine region.

An excellent way to start your trip and learn about Chile’s rich cultural history while enjoying an array of its food and drinks.
