A walking tour through Chile’s historic center and market district. A treat for your senses. During 3-4 hours we will explore the abundance of Chile’s market.

A visceral experience, this tour will take you through Chile’s traditional cooking and the ingredients, all in Santiago’s lively Vega Central and finish with seafood in Mercado Central.

The tour includes 4-5 stops to sample food and drinks that together equal a large lunch. It starts at 10.30 am from the Plaza de Armas. Pick up, if requred, depends on your hotel but is roughly 10am.

EAT N’ BIKE:

Feel the contrasts of a dynamic and complex city and then taste the cuisine and flavors of Chile’s home style cooking. Our appetizer: a 3 hour ride through the not-to-miss neighborhoods to savor the nooks and sites of Santiago.

But there’s still more to taste!

After the ride we start at the seafood rich Central Market a short walk to La Vega Central, wandering the tight aisles and feeling the bustling activity. Along the way we’ll stop 3-4 times to try local drinks and dishes and bask in the unique culture of Santiago’s lavish fresh produce market.

Getting to know a city and the culture of a country had never been so much fun. Don’t miss it: we have set our bikes for your appetite.

CAMPO GOURMET

IIn this tour we start at a market browsing the abundant offer of fresh produce. Here we select
ingredients for our lunch.

Next we drive 45 minutes south of Santiago to the small town of Champa, to a charming country home where we will prepare an appetizer, main dish and desert using the ingredients from the market. With lunch we will also have either a glass of wine or a microbrew.

Afterwards we will finish things off with a walk to a lookout with a view of the valley, before going back to the hotel.
