Valparaiso Street Art Tour

We pick you up in Santiago with professional driver and transport you through the Coastal Mountain range to Valparaiso, a port city granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 2002. Home to artists, poets and musicians; steep hills, colored houses, and cobbled and colorful streets.

We will arrive to Valparaiso where you’ll meet your local guide for your comprehensive Street Art tour. With the use of transport, you’ll see hundreds of murals in many different neighborhoods of Valparaiso as you also learn about the history and culture of this port city along the way.

Begin by visiting Barrio Puerto and seeing the oldest area of Valparaíso and its street art. You’ll pass by some of the old historical bars, maybe enter a century old building or two, and move on to Plaza Sotomayor, Valparaiso’s main square, where you’ll get a full explanation of the
landmarks and buildings in the area.

Continue up the hills to colorful Cerros Alegre and Concepción, on to Miraflores and Cárcel hills, as well as Cerro San Juan de Dios and Cerro Yungay. See great graffiti by national & international urban artists, and start to recognize their individual styles. You’ll have time along the way for Chile’s favorite national food, an empanada and a cold drink.

Drive along lofty Avenida Alemania for an amazing combination of views, street art and the local feel of the city, then head to several other hills where you’ll see some of the amazing pieces painted
during the last graffiti festivals.

After your full day exploring this city, we’ll transport you back to Santiago.
